Assistant Director, Digital Services
The Assistant Director of the Population Health, Digital Services section will support the Section Head in leading and driving innovation, digital products and services development, and project implementation to shape and build on NHG’s population health digital strategy and suite of products and services for residents, patients, caregivers, and partners, across NHG Missions – Population Health, Primary Care, and Community Care (collectively “NHG stakeholders”).
The Assistant Director will collaborate cross-functionally with teams from the NHG Missions to understand and deep dive into the Missions’ internal and external operations and processes, to digitally transform and enhance workflows to deliver NHG’s one service experience goals for NHG stakeholders – simplified tech stack and journeys for NHG stakeholders and harmonised operations for consistent and seamless care delivery.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Define Digital Services products and services vision, strategy, and roadmap for development based on NHG Missions’ aims, goals, and priorities.
- Own product lifecycle from conception to launch, including planning, implementation, and ensuring closed feedback loop with NHG stakeholders.
- Ensure project management complies with NHG internal processes including meeting IT Demand submission and Finance budget planning cycles, as well as IT systems/data security and governance standards required for system go-live.
- Lead project discoveries and gather insights and requirements from NHG stakeholders to ensure product-user fit and continuously improve features to meet evolving needs of, and bring value to, NHG stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to refine and optimise Digital Services products and services offerings.
- Represent Digital Services team at Ministry/Agency/Healthcare Cluster engagements to ensure alignment of NHG digital strategy with national and industry developments.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- Good bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Formal qualifications and/or professional certifications in Tech (e.g., AI, Web, App, CRM solutions, etc) and Digital Project Management (e.g., Agile, etc) preferred, otherwise extensive experience of having demonstrated project management methodologies on strategic projects and transformation programs.
- Having healthcare operations and/or clinical experience will be advantageous.
- Must possess strong administrative and project coordination skills.
- Strong written, analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient in various computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
