We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to drive Organisation Excellence initiatives in the Institute of Mental Health, in synergy with Corporate Development’s role in Strategic Management. 

 

 

Job responsibilities

 

The Assistant Director will oversee three core areas, namely Organisation Excellence (Process Improvement and Excellence), Governance strategies (Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit) and Corporate Services.

 

  • Develop and implement organisation excellence strategies that enable staff to provide integrated, seamless and cost-effective care for patients.

 

  • Oversee the training of key drivers of the organisation excellence and related organisation development strategies consisting of IMH’s leaders and middle management.

 

  • Coordinate IMH’s submission of nominations for NHG Quality Day awards, and other national awards.

 

  • Facilitate senior management oversight of IMH’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.

 

  • Facilitate the Internal Audit of agreed upon areas driven by the MOH Holdings Group Internal Audit team, together with IMH senior leadership and departments.

 

  • Oversee the organisation of and secretariat support for corporate-level events that involve CEO and the senior leadership, and NHG senior leadership.

 

  • Facilitate capability development of department staff and IMH staff in areas of strategic importance to IMH, such as strategic planning and Balanced Scorecard framework, and LEAN methodology and design thinking.

 

 

Requirements

  • A good degree

  • About 10 years of working experience in Business and Marketing preferred and at least 5 years of managerial / supervisory experience

  • Strong in both written and spoken language with a flair for networking and building relationships with stakeholders of all levels

  • Strong project management skills and multi-tasking abilities

  • Strategic, analytical and creative

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry or government sector will be a plus
