Assistant Director, Community Care (Curriculum Specialist)
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To develop longitudinally scaffolded content/curriculum resources to promote social-emotional and mental wellbeing for children/youths and enhance their adoption of healthier behaviours.
- To assimilate preventive health interventions into the school eco system to be delivered by school teachers as part of their curriculum delivery.
- To lead a multi-disciplinary team to build engaged access to schools and perform the functions as Health Manager for Schools.
- To mobilize effective preventive intervention programmes by 3rd parties and curate programmes based on the needs of individual schools.
- To conduct ground-sensing studies and/or literature review to identify key factors that drive existing health behaviours of children/youths in specific settings.
- To establish evaluation matrix to measure and track progress on the above following the implementation of intervention programmes.
- To initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control projects that may be assigned from time to time.
PROFILE OF CANDIDATE
- Tertiary education in relevant discipline.
- Practical experience in designing and developing training curriculum.
- Experience in programme development for school settings will be advantageous.
- Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams and managing internal/external stakeholders will be advantageous.
