Ambulance Driver
As a driver, you will need to have Singapore Class 3 and 4 license and have good knowledge of the road directions/conditions as well as traffic rules. You must also be able to work 3-rotating shifts. With training, you should also be competent in administering One Man – CPR + AED, perform Defensive Driving, use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), use of Hydraulic lifters and Hazardous Materials spillage response.
Your scope of duties include:-
- Driving patients, staff and/or goods to designated area, as per request
- Observe road safety regulations, ensure safety of passengers and other road users, and maintain clean driving records
- Assist in the manning of hotlines and emails, as well as the coordination for transport requests
- Assist in the manpower and roster planning
- Perform operator-level maintenance of vehicles, in accordance to the checklist
- Ensure cleanliness of vehicles and conduct daily inspections
As a member of the Transport department, you will also participate in activities that contribute to service quality and improvement initiatives at the departmental and organizational level.
